Today’s post is going to be a bit different from my normal posts. I wanted to share with you what I am most thankful for this Thanksgiving, and I encourage you to leave what you are most thankful for in the comments below!
First, let me start by saying Thanksgiving is one of my all time favorites, not because of the food (although, that does have a pretty big influence on my feelings towards it), but because it’s a family holiday. I love having my family together, the ambiance of family holidays- the warmth of the oven, the smell of dinner, the buzz of mingling and the hugs from family members- it all warms my soul. I have so much to be thankful for, and around this time it’s so humbling to recognize it all.
So, here are a few things I am most thankful for… both this year and always.
I am so grateful to have such an amazing family. I couldn’t imagine my life without any of them! They have given me so much love and the greatest life.
I could seriously add a million more photos, but I don’t want this post to be miles long… and it’s getting a little tedious to prepare each photo to be the same size haha!
My boyfriend Shaun is someone I am so thankful for! He is seriously my best friend and I couldn’t do life with out him. We always have a good time together, and I am so grateful for all of the fun adventures he has taken me on and all of the new things he has shown and taught me. He truly is my other half!
I am so so thankful that this year I delved into something I always dreamt of doing, and I absolutely love it! My heart is so full because I know that I am doing something I truly love to do and I can’t wait to see what is to come in my blogging journey. I literally spend hours a day researching what I can do to further my blog, and make it better for both me and you. I am constantly thinking about what I can blog about, basically all day long. I absolutely love it. I want to thank every single one of you for reading my blog, following along and interacting with me- your support means so much to me!!
A few more things I am thankful for…
My dogs- I couldn’t live with out them!
School- I am so thankful to have the opportunity to further my education and be a student.
My health and my families health- I thank God that we all lead healthy lives. It is easily overlooked but is so special.
The amazing families I nanny for- I am so thankful to have had the chance to nanny so many awesome kids, who I love so so much. I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had to practice by mommy skills before I actually am one, I wouldn’t trade it for anything!!
There are so many amazing things in my life to be thankful for. Thanksgiving is a great time to reflect on what we are thankful for, but it’s also a time to remind ourselves to always be thankful. I hope you all enjoy your time with family and friends, and have a fun and safe Thanksgiving holiday! P.S. Don’t forget to enjoy the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade… It would be a dream to see it in person, am I right?! There is something so theatrical about it that makes it feel magical, it brings back childhood memories and always reminds me of the movie Miracle on 34th Street. Plus, I would love to go to NY.
