Hey pretty ladies! This outfit was so fun to style and the way these wide leg pants sway in the breeze as you walk makes you feel all the summer time feels. Wide leg pants are literally this seasons. They’re the perfect alternative to shorts for sunny days and they’re seriously great for any occasion. Dress them up or down. Wear them out to dinner with heels or throw them over your swim suit at the beach! Mine are my favorite because of the stripes and the colors. Red, white, and blue are my favorite colors to wear during the warmer months. Fourth of July is the epitome of summer time and any time I can rock these colors, I do. It just feels, right. 😉
Festival season is among us, and although I have never been to one (nor really plan to ever attend one) I love some of the fashion trends they bring. The shoes, necklaces, and suede really bring a festival vibe to this look… I love it! But, it’s not so festival-like that you can’t wear it anywhere BUT the festivals, lol.
I purchased these wooden platform shoes a few years ago (also love these). I snagged them on major sale at Steve Madden. But, they’re definitely still in style. I think we are slowly moving from 70’s style inspo to 80’s style inspo… but some of the trends inspired by the 70’s will stick around, and I think these shoes will be one of them. They’re so comfortable to wear and so easy to walk in. They add major height without killing your feet. Suede is another trend inspired by the 70’s that I think is here to stay a while. Even though suede was huge in fall and winter, there are still so many ways to style suede this spring and summer! Add a coat, like mine, over any tank, sun dress, or t-shirt and jeans for a night out. Or, rock a suede dress or skirt! A super easy way to incorporate suede no matter the season is by wearing a suede cross body or backpack.
