Hey guys!! I am so excited to share this with you today! So, have you ever wondered what to do with those left over wine bottles? Well… I have the perfect DIY for you! I have seen things like this on Pinterest lately, so I decided to put my own twist on it and this is what I came up with. I hope you like it! You can either gather your wine bottles through drinking wine (my preferred method 😉 ) or you can buy some at a craft store for a few bucks. First, you’ll want to find a paint that is meant for glass, I found mine at Michael’s in the color Wicker White. You’ll need a paint brush, of course, and other colored paint for the accents. I really think a gold and bright fuchsia would pair well together, or silver and teal. Then, find some rope/yarn you love. I found mine in the clearance section of Michael’s, but any rope will do! Paint the layers onto your wine bottle, once the paint is dry hot glue the rope to the base of the neck of the bottle, then begin wrapping it until it reaches the top of the neck of the bottle and hot glue it down again. The final step is to find a flower that you like and stick it in! I found my fake peonies at The Hobby Lobby some time last year and I have loved them ever since lol! The color is so bright and fun. Peonies are definitely my favorite flower, they’re gorgeous. I love how these vases turned out, they will look awesome in my new office! Please let me know in the comments if you try this! Plus, let me know of any other DIYs you can do with wine bottles, I’d love to hear your ideas! Follow along on Pinterest for more fun DIYs.
