Blogtober Crockpot Pumpkin Butter

So, this October I have decided to take part in blogtober (what?!). I am so excited, I hope you are too! If you don’t already know, during the month of October, some bloggers decide to post every. single. day. of the month (known as blogtober). Youtuber’s do it also, but that’s often known as Vlogtober or Youtober.
Usually, the posts are fall related, but don’t necessarily have to be. However, I plan to keep most of mine fall/ holiday related.

With that said, happy October 1st!! I CANNOT believe it is already October. September seriously flew by. I’m not complaining, because September is my least favorite month. Nothing exciting ever happens. School starts, the weather sucks here in California, and it always feels like I am waiting forever for fall to start. I don’t think I have ever lived through a September that has been so quick to pass.

But let’s get into the good stuff. In this first post of blogtober I am sharing a super yummy and super easy recipe for pumpkin butter! My nana actually found this recipe on Facebook and tagged me in it, and I instantly knew I had to make it that same day… and I am so glad I did. It is such an easy recipe, you literally dump everything in a crockpot and let it cook for 2-3 hours, all while it is filling your home with the smell of spiced pumpkin. I couldn’t help myself and took a good amount of spoonfuls to eat while it was cooking… so worth it.

Blogtober Crockpot Pumpkin ButterMy favorite ways to use this pumpkin butter? I love to stir it into my coffee in the morning. It effortlessly melts away and makes for the easiest at home PSL. I am also obsessed with topping my bagel & cream cheese with it. It’s such a treat! #drooling.

Check out the recipe below and let me know what you use it for in the comments below, I’d love to have a few more ideas up my sleeve! xx
