Today my sister and I stopped at Carbon Canyon Regional Park before heading to the mall. It was such a nice day to take photos! What is cool about this park is that there is a Redwood grove you can hike to/through. The Redwoods are not as old or as large as the ones up north, of course, but I am sure they are still beautiful. We did not get to hike to them today but I hope to one day soon.
I really love the bell bottom jean trend. They not only make your legs look slim and long, but they give you an excuse to wear heels! I paired the jeans with a floral print and would have loved to throw on a brown suede jacket but I still need to get my hands on one… I have been eyeing one from Forever 21! Instead, I threw on a leather jacket.
Fitting into the 70’s come back, fringe has also been huge lately. I absolutely love fringe, it adds texture and movement to an outfit. This cute cobalt blue cross body from Express has the perfect fringe tassel, and I absolutely love the color. We saw a lot of cobalt blue last spring and summer and I really hope we see it again this year!
Wooden platforms made a comeback this year also. I found these for only $30 dollars at Steve Madden.
p.s. this shirt was actually a dress… hey, points for creativity am I right?
Pants: Express (They don’t have this exact pair any longer). They have these which are awesome with a raw hem.
Jacket: Angl (was again bought in high school). I love this one.
Shoes: Steve Madden. These are very similar.
Cross-body: Express. This one is so similar and really cute.
